Totally a family environment... That's why the name La misión... It's a decent replica of a small town Hacienda in a beach concept. The vintage ideas from La Misión Remind me of the vintage Hotel Coronado next door beach. It's a Totally peaceful place to hang out... Having all the markest next door walking, order food locally and delivering to the door The Theaters It's couple blocks from it The Night clubs are walking distance The idea of a vintage experience ... I love the place and the family environment As a woman who traveled around different places, cultures and countries... I personally feel Totally protected by staying there during my visit to La Baja California South. My best recommendation to enjoy the vintage concept of Motel La Misión See you soon La Misión... Summer It's about to come and I have my reservation to go and travel around Rosarito beach, Ensenada Beach and Tecate , Mexicali .... Be tourist locally to... !!
Well maintained, affordable family run hotel in Playas de Tijuana, Mexico. It's centrally located and in front of a Walmart super market and store. Transportation to the US border via bus or taxi is readily available.
I have spent the better part of a month I this little hotel while looking for a permanent place to call home. Being fresh into Mexico, my Spanish is in dire need of improovement, but the staff saw me trying and in turn with teaching me were very considerate of my language barrier... pointing and speaking the name of the object in what i had learned is where i am at so far..... 100 times more than when i first arrived. 10/10 The hotel is very well maintained and clean of garbage, bad smells, and overbearing tourists. i give the cleanliness a 10\10. 9/10 Another plus is there is a parking lot within the courtyard of the building that is pretty secured with a motion sensor bell/ringer that could possibly keep a light sleeper annoyed... but didn't affect me.... my car was safe, i do not feel any fears parking here on site. It is a little tight to maneuver and i could find my mother having a hard time getting her car out on her own, if she were to come visit me..... but im not banking on her driving in Mexico... parking I give a 9\10 solely for how it can be difficult at times getting out of the lot. 10\10 The rooms.... although I have an entry level room, it is quaint for someone looking to travel on a budget, have warm water, free Wi-Fi, free parking, a safer part of town (in my opinion), staff that always greet you with a smile, wave hello or goodbye, and are in good spirits all day long.... and are the definition of what customer service professionals should be back in the USA. Also, if you have any issues, the manager is quick to get it done. No plumbers or cable guy times here like in the states..... it is fixed immediately. I give the rooms, staff, and management a 10\10 I recommend this hotel to anyone..... if not for the cost, then the service you are bound to receive, people you will never forget, and peace of mind knowing your safe. Another plus I have to mention is the location. The hotel is across the street from Wal-Mart, 7 min walk to Starbucks, Carl's Jr. Dominos pizza, And a few great taco places I've had the pleasure of trying. 10 minute walk or 3 min drive to the beach boardwalk that is filled with tasty panaderías, coffee houses, and tasty tapas spots. When i went on my last walk to the beach, even saw a pod of about 12 dolphins swimming just off shore..... beautiful beach (minus the ugly wall that has been decorated with beautiful local street art and some adverts).

“Hotel La Misión”, excelente servicio, personal amable y habitaciones cómodas. Además cobran 20 dólares más de depósito :|. Pero es buen hotel muy recomendable para descansar. Queda cercas de la playa y en frente de la Walmart de Playas de Tijuana. : )
Pésimo servicio desde que te registras, 400 pesos de depósito y te advierten que pobre de aquel que manche las toallas, las sábanas, las almohadas, la alfombra de lo que sea porque se quedan con tu depósito, así o más ridículos.
